Embellishment and baroque is already one of this autumn/winters key trends. Gold embroidery, extravagant jewels, saturated colours all on black is the essence of this trend. Like a wearable tapestry but richer and with a modern twist.

With the likes of Dolce & Gabanna making Baroque the hot trends for this fall I’ve decided to have a wander to find my favourite baroque/embellished items from the high street.

One of my favourite front runners for the baroque trend is River Island offering the highly embellished trend for reasonable prices.

My favourites are the earrings (definitely going to purchase), the river island stud and jewel cap but I don't have a clue to what occasion I could wear it!The river island heels are also sooooo nice and I'm definitely after the missguided dress. From what I can see the new river island range isn't all available because I've been on the hunt for some of the items and cant find them (I really want the baroque shorts and the jewel embellished vest from the campaign!).
