Very Givenchy!

The Givenchy resort 2012 collection by Riccardo Tisci is to die for. I love the digital prints, the colours used and the symmetry of the prints giving it almost a kaleidoscope effect.

Here are a few pieces which I feel have a Givenchy inspired feel without the hefty price tag:

1.Minusey.com- Givenchic silk bomber jacket  £43.2.Asos.com- Fairground gorilla skater dress  £95.3.Miss Selfridge-Jewel Embellished Sweat  £38.4.Asos.com- Tshirt with baroque panel  £16.5.Minusey.com- Givenchic tunic dress  £38.6.Forever21.com-  abstract print tee £12.75 .7.H&m- blue flower dress  £17.99.8.Asos.com- Lipsy  chain print bodycon dress  £50.9.Asos.com- Lipsy mirror print dress  £40.10.All saints - Opium top  £95.11.Forever21.com -Rhinestone rope necklace   £6.65.12.Asos.com- haunted flower print metal corner clutch  £32.13.Forever21.com -Rhinestone teardrop studs  £3.15.14.Riverisland-Black Foil Baroque midi bodycon dress  £40.

My favourites are the Minusey tunic, Asos Tshirt and All saints tshirt. The forever21 jewellery is also a bargain and statement jewellery featured in Gucci’s SS13 runway show at Milan fashion week so more is more when it comes to accessorizing and why not when you can get the look at such an affordable price!

Riccardo Tisci  returned for the Givenchy resort 2013 collection which had more of a ‘gypsy’ feel with the use of Paisley print contrasted with monochrome.

He referred to the collection as "romantic, but with a sharpness." The combination of print and monochrome again makes this a striking collection and I can’t wait to see what next year has to hold.
