Varsity tee - £6.

As I mentioned in my previous post; on Friday Night my boyfriend took me to Primark and I picked up some items and thought I’d share these bargain wonders with you. Though I must admit they aren’t the most exciting of items.
I thought this American varsity t-shirt was really cute plus was for £6 it’s miles cheaper than the topshop alternative I was eyeing up.

I’m usually devoted to nude lipsticks but after hearing about Rimmel Apocolips on youtube and on blogs I thought I’d give it a try. I initially bought the nude (‘nude eclipse’),the dark red (‘the big bang’) and then the coral red (‘steller’) from boots on 3 for 2. They are so so good, believe the hype! The colour is strong yet glossy and only requires one coat. It doesn’t dry out the lips and does last. The darker colours such as the reds do transfer though so don’t go for a swanky meal wearing it otherwise you end up with red all round your mouth (trust me). My favourite is definitely the ‘steller’ red and it’s the one I wore on my valentines post.

MAC matte lipstick in 'Candy Yum Yum'.

I went to MAC with my friend the other day and neither of us could resist this lipstick. It’s MAC and is called ‘candy yum yum’. We both clocked it on the beauty assistant working on the mac counter and asked what shade it was. It’s a neon matt pink and is a very pigmented colour with just one coat. I love how bright it is and it really perks up your look, the only downside is it does exaggerate if your lips are dry so I’d recommend using a balm or a lip primer before. Apparently this shade used to be a one off then by popular demand is now a permanent member in MAC stores, yay!

I invested in a Boy beanie as I’ve worn my Dior Homie one to death and I really like the thicker knit of this one plus I know the logo is a bit in your face so I can always wear it to the back when I fancy a change. Everyone needs a beanie in this freezing weather for sure!

Illamasqua 'Brush up' Brush. Illamasqua Gleam in 'Aurora'.

 I thought I’d quickly share with you what came through my letter box today. The new Illamasqua blusher brush and highlighter. The brush has received rave reviews in the magazines and is meant to be a new unique shape great for contouring and highlighting the cheek bones. I’m yet to use it but the bristles do feel so soft and tightly packed so I imagine it will provide a pigmented colour application and the shape does look ideal for contouring and sweeping over the cheeks.
